Designing a Game
Above - Gamefroot Logo |
In our DGM class we have been creating platform games on a game creator called Gamefroot, Gamefroot is a 3 - D game Creator. Good things about this game creator is that you can go between, editing and playing your game.
The three things we are working on are Art, Characters and Game play.
Art Work
The art I have chosen to go with is the desert (Thar) scene. It wanted to create a effect that the character is running through a desert trying to find a cross. I added a desert background and golden pathways (Terrain) to give it an adventurous feel
Characters/props
My character is a guy with a bandanna, he has to trek through the Thar desert and over come various obstacles. And he has to find the cross and retrieve it for the man.
Game-play
The aim of the game is that, The character has to overcome a series of challenges and reach all of the tomb riders hideouts to try and find and retrieve the cross for the man. In lvl 1 the player has to trek through the desert go across a pit but the man escapes
The character that I creater for my game.

Photoshop Photo manipulation bulb water - What is a Pixel
Water wave in light-bulb I used images off Google Images |
I decided to manipulate more that one image and try different things like the light bulb and the water
For Photoshop we first had to watch videos about pixels
If you grab a magnifying glass and put it up to a digital screen you can see tiny little squares, The little squares are called pixels. In the pixels there are even more little squares. The Pixels are made out of three colors Red, Blue and Green and they are called RBG's
The more pixels you have the clearer/denser the image, every single pixel can have approximately 16 and a half million colors

Anti-alias allow images to look smoother for example you cannot make a circle out of square pixels so you can use a tool called Anti-alias allows you to smooth the edges by, adding different shades to the circle

Failure as a Way to Success
Failure Changing into Success
What I think about failure into success; I think that it is good. I think of failure as a mistake and if you have a growth mindset. You can learn from your mistake and try again and again until you succeed.
Stephen King
Stephen King is famous for his novels in horror, Supernatural fiction so forth. now been made into movies. He has sold over 30 million novels. His first novel 'Carrie' was rejected 30 times. He even through the manuscript into the garbage. But his wife found it and in his dream in becoming an published author.
From learning about failure into success I know know that not all famous people had a good childhood and they had to learn from there mistakes
